B-water Animation is looking for a Animator / FX 2D Sup to join our team!

Requirements:

- Proven experience in leading a team of FX 2D artists.

- 3+ years of professional experience in FX 2D or animation industries and 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role

- Strong knowledge of Maya/Blender is essential.

- Thorough understanding of 2D and animation movies production pipeline.

- Good knowledge of nCloth et nHair.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Being proactive and able to adapt is extremely important.

- Good communication skills (English).

Responsibilities:

- Supervise the FX 2D team and ensure the quality of the work out of the department.

- Work with production coordinators to schedule the team.

- Implement and deliver technical solutions, in collaboration with the Technical Animation Supervisor and the Hair Lead.

- Train and guide the FX 2D team, promoting collaboration and team spirit within the department.

- Be accountable for the retakes and ensure their follow-up.

- Be in direct contact with R&D.

- Respect the quotas set by production.

- Filters work before presenting it to the FX 2D Supervisor/Art Director/Director for approval.

- Assign shots to the team based on the previous selection and assists them during quota until final approval.
