We’re looking for an experienced Senior Pipeline TD to support our team!

You’ll be joining a vibrant entertainment company known for creating, developing and producing award-winning, hit shows such as True and the Rainbow Kingdom for Netflix, the smash-hit PAW Patrol, Mattel’s Ever After High; and our own Emmy Award nominated series Justin Time. Our studio also contributed visual development on the Academy Award nominated animated feature The Breadwinner.

Responsibilities:

Triage, and fix pipeline issues coming from production
Maintain or create software tools to assist production needs
Design workflows to enhance the quality of life for production and also help us maintain existing ones
Participate, suggest, collaborate and brainstorm ideas during TD meetings
Behave in a courteous, respectful, professional manner
Have humility and ownership when mistakes are made
Document workflows and tools created
Create intuitive training or documentation
Utilize the scientific method when approaching problem-solving
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pipeline TD or Engineer
Working knowledge of Maya and Maya scripting is required
Nuke and Houdini experience are preferred but not required
Object-oriented Python is required (1+ years)
C++ experience is an asset but not required
3D production experience is recommended but not required
Knowledge and experience with version control systems, like git or subversion
Knowledge and experience with databases, such as mongodb or MySQL is an asset
Experience with shotgun (shotgrid) production tracking is an asset
Experience with deadline or a renderfarm manager is also an asset
Some one who likes to keep up-to-date with what is going on in the general community and vendors to help guide how we can move forward or integrate these ideas
